Brian Meents, Manager
Brian “Buz” Meents is the manager of Iroquois Insurance. Following his secondary education at Lincoln College, he completed his Bachelor of Science degree in business and insurance at Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington IL. Brian was an insurance adjuster for 10 years and has now been with Iroquois Insurance Agency for 28 years. He holds a license in property, casualty and life.
Brian a Watseka native and his wife Mary of 30 years, have two grown children Brian H. and Kristin. During the time they were raising their children, Brian enjoyed coaching and attending their many sporting events. Active in his church, he is on the board of Elders where he is currently the Clerk of Session. Brian is an avid sportsman and enjoys the outdoors.
Sean Deneau - Agent
Sean Deneau serves as an insurance agent for the Watseka and Danville areas. He holds a license in property, casualty and life insurance. Currently, Sean is working towards finishing up his CIC designation.
He has proven to be committed to his community by serving as the City Clerk for Watseka for the past 5 years, volunteering as the Cub master for the Watseka Area Pack 186 for much of the last decade and helping out with numerous school and sports related events.
He resides in Watseka with his wife, Terra, and their four children.
Debbie Pfingsten - CISR
Debbie Pfingsten is a graduate of Sheldon High School. She then attended Illinois State University, where she obtained a bachelor of Science Degree. She worked in the retail furniture industry for 14 years before coming to Iroquois insurance.
While employed at Iroquois Insurance she has obtained her Certified Insurance Service Representative designation. This designation is obtained through a series of rigorous courses and examinations. She has been with Iroquois Insurance for 8 years in the capacity of customer service representative.
Amie Hawkins - CISR
Amie Hawkins is currently a customer service representative specializing in commercial lines and farm. She heads up the bookkeeping at Iroquois Insurance. Amie began her career at Iroquois Federal in July of 2002 and came to Iroquois Insurance in March of 2005. Amie volunteers for meals on wheels.
While employed at Iroquois Insurance Amie has obtained her Certified Insurance Service Representative designation. This designation is obtained through a series of rigorous courses and examinations. This national designation requires yearly continuing education.
Amie currently resides in Watseka with her husband, Robert. She enjoys her step-son, Dominic and extended family.
Heidi Breymeyer - CISR
Heidi Breymeyer is a graduate of Tri-Point High School. After graduating high school, she attended Kankakee Community College for two years before transferring to Eastern Illinois University. She graduated from EIU with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance. She worked as a teller in a bank for a short period after graduation before coming to Iroquois Insurance. She joined the staff at Iroquois Insurance in July of 2009.
She is a customer service representative at Iroquois in personal lines. While employed at Iroquois Insurance, she has obtained her Certified Insurance Service Representative designation after completing a series of rigorous courses and examinations. She is active with Iroquois Federal’s Relay for Life team and enjoys working with the students through the Business Education partnership.
Heidi currently resides in Gilman with her husband, Brice.
